CHRISTMAS WEEK!!

Well Christmas time is over and it was a pretty good christmas. It was a busy one but it was a great time had. On Christmas Eve we spent it with my family. We got there around 2pm and just hung out until 11pm. We baked a whole lot, had dinner and just played video games all night. We got some great stuff from my folks expecially the dresser and the night stands. Thanks mom and dad. That night we headed up to Brandon's folks so we could spend Christmas with them. We got there pretty late and woke up Christmas morning pretty early. It was fun to have all his family together because this is going to be the last one for a couple of years because Brandon's brother Stuart will be going on his mission in Feb. We got some gift cards from Brandon's folks so we could get a new laptop. Thanks to them as well.
The day after Christmas I headed to Salt Lake with my parents, brother Kody and his girl friend Kayli. It was a very long drive. Once we got to Flagstaff we had icy roads alot of the way that we were only going 40-45 miles the rest of the way. We finally made it to Utah at about 9:30pm. My grandma and Uncle Bill met us at my brother Josh's house so we could do presents with them. It was great to go and do that.
The following morning I was able to attend my best friend Rachel Horton's wedding in the Salt Lake Temple. It was really early in the morning but it was so great to be there for her. It was sooo cold waiting outside for her to come out but I made it through. So all day Saturday I just had Rachel's wedding to attend.
Sunday morning my family was able to go sledding. It was so much fun. We did have alot of bumbs and brusies but that didnt stop all of us from having a great time. That is the only reason why I miss the snow. That night my mom and I went to her family Christmas party. It was just a small get together but it was great to see them. I havent seen them for a year now which was at my Aunt's funeral. I was so excited to see my cousins Tyller, Jaron and Rylie. They are looking so good.
Monday afternoon my grandma Rosalie and I went to see the movie Twilight. I was suppose to take her when she was in Arizona last but something came up that I couldnt. So I took her while I was there. I love that movie and I think she did as well. Monday night I headed home. I was suppose to leave at 9;45pm but my flight was delayed by an hour so I didnt get home until late.
Over all it was a great trip and a great Christmas. I will have videos and pictures posted soon.

ALL GROWN UP!!!

This post is an 18th Birthday Shout Out to my Baby Brother Kody Grant Cooke. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABY BROTHER!!

Yes he will always be my baby brother even though he is much bigger than me. I cant believe he is already 18 and will be graduating high school in a couple days. It was like yesterday that I was rocking him to sleep, and that he shout out on his 3rd birthday "A Car Bed For Me". I am so proud of him and I hope he knows that. Love you Boof.

JUST OUR LUCK!!

Well I sure hope nothing else goes horrible in the Bjarnson household because I dont know what else it can be. This year has been so crappy and I sure hope its a better one next year.
So today at work everything was going fine until about 3:15pm when this guy came down to see why my computer wasnt working at work. As he was working on it he was telling us about an accident that he witness in the parking lot at my work. He told us that three cars were involved one that was drinking and two park cars. He then said the lady that was drinking a vehical had some kind of trouble and the next thing he knew she was jumping a curb and hit a park car that was an SUV. Well that SUV than spun and well my car was the lucky one that stopped it. I was like what kind of car was it and he began explaining my car. So when I walked out to see what had happened long and behold I see my car was involved. Thats right my brand new 5 months old car has been hit while it was parked. The SUV was pushed in the front passenger door, and my car was not able to be moved until the SUV was moved. Lucky the lady hadnt left yet and we were able to exchange insurance information. When the SUV was finally moved I was able to see the damage to my car. I am thinking there is about $500-$600 worth of damage to the car. They will have to get a new passenger door and fender. We may have to get a paint job but we will see how that goes when I go get the damage looked at and see what they say will have to be done. Like I said I sure hope next year goes better than this year.

UTAH JAZZ AND PHOENIX SUNS GAME!!

On Saturday night my dad, Kody, his girlfriend Kayli, Brandon and I were able to go to the Jazz Suns game. It has been fun going the last year to these games as a family. I didnt get to many pictures because I was into the game to much and I really didnt feel like taking that many pics. It was a good game however the Utah Jazz lost by 2 points. It was pretty funny because at the end of the first three quarters the teams were tied. I thought for sure we could win it but we didnt have that luck. I think Kody and I were making the Suns fans behind us upset because they were yelling at the end of the game "Utah Sucks" I dont think we sucked because it could have been a worse lost. Anyways it was still fun and I hope to do it again next year.

ITS CHRISTMAS TIME FUN!!!

The last couple of nights Brandon and I have been doing Christmas Decorating. We got the lights up outside and did the tree. Also tonight we made a gingerbread house for fun. It was nice to spend time together. Hope everyone has a great Christmas Season.

I wanted to get the post up yesterday but I didnt have the time. With finals just around the corner for school I had to get some studing in and get last min homework done. But this is my Aunt Teresa a year ago yesterday she passed away at the age of 33. She left behind three wonderful children, parents, sisters, nieces and nephews. It has been a hard year but we all know she is in a better place and all her pains are gone.

LOVED IT!!!

Well today was my first day at work at my new job. I am now working for Rio Salado College in their financial aid department, and I LOVED IT!! It was so nice to have something to do the whole 8 hours of work time and not sit there twiddling my thumbs wondering when the next customer was going to walk through the door. I pretty much push papers and make sure that all the files are done correctly by the students so they can get their financial aid. As of right now that is pretty easy and I think it will stay easy. Alot of people are telling me that once the students get up in your face because they want their money thats when the fun begins. I just tell them how WAMU is set up meaning there are no teller towers so the customer is up in your face the whole time so I am use to that. At least here at the school I have a counter blocking me. I told them I am not afraid to get up in their face and tell them its not my fault they cant fill out their paper work correctly to get their money. Everyone just laughed. It will be interesting once I get to that step.

I want to thank everyone for their prayers and support during this time. I know without them I would have had a hard time finding this job as soon as I did. I will make sure I keep everyone posted.

TWILIGHT AMAZING!!

So last night my mom and and I went to see the Twilight movie. I thought it was Amazing. I know I have heard people say different things about it, but I loved it. I liked how it cut out some unneccessary parts from the book other wise I think the movie would have been alot longer than 2 hours. I thought the characters that played Bella and Edward did a wonderful job. When I saw Bella's character that is how I pictured her in the book. The guy that played Edward you can say HOTTY!!! The only thing I didnt like about the movie is the color of the vampires skin. I thought they could have done a better job with the white look to their face. You really could tell that they were just wearing white make up. Other than that I loved it. I cant wait to go see it again and for the next movies to come out. If anyone needs someone to go with to see the movie let me know I will be your date. :)

GOT THE JOB!!!

So yesterday I had an "interview" with Rio Salado College. I put interview in quotes because it really wasnt an interview. I walked in at 10am and the next thing I knew I was walking about 10 mins later with a new job. When I came in the lady was like when can you start and I told her I could start on Monday. So today (Friday) I came into the bank and I told my management team that my last day will be tomorrow (Saturday). I am so excited I will write more later.

SHE MARRIED FINALLY!!

My good friend Kristin from high school finally got married last night to her long time friend and sweet heart Jake Johnson. She looked so wonderful and I couldnt be happier for her. I was also able to help cater the wedding and it was so much fun. Thanks Kristin for letting me help. Congrats to you and Jake.

JOB INTERVIEW!!

Finally something good has come out of all my applications and Resumes that I have sent out. Next Thursday Nov 20th at 10am I have an interview with Rio Salado College in their finacial Aid department. It should be good. Keep your prayers coming I feel it working.

STILL LOOKING.....

So I have been looking for a new job for about a month and still having no luck. To my surprisment there are alot of places hiring but I just cant get in to have an interview. Its getting really hard to stay at the bank. At times I just want to quit and keep looking for a job but I cant afford to do that right now. So if any of you know of any place that is hiring for a receptionist, or whatever please let me know. I want to try to stay away from banking for now but if anyone knows of an in at a bank I will take it.

UTAH TRIP!!

So this past weekend I went to Utah to see some family and friends. It was so nice to be there again and I hate having to come home. It was a busy weekend but I got everything done that I want to do and some more. I got in on Friday night and my grandma took me to my brother's house so I could hang out with them for Halloween. I was able to go trick or treating with them and then I went to Jeff Olson's Halloween party with them. The next day I was able to go see Amber and Cody and their new baby boy Chandler. He was so cute I was so excited to go see my "nephew". That night I was able to go to my friend Kim's suprise baby shower. She moved to Texas when she got married and was in town for her baby blessing so her mom threw her a baby shower. It was so great to see her again and to have all us girls from Utah together again. 4:45am WAKE UP CALL!!

So early this morning Brandon and I were sleeping like normal people do and at 4:45am we hear our door bell ring. I woke up right away and I asked Brandon was that our door bell and he was like yea I think so. But I think he was talking in his sleep because like 10 secs later he was like was that the door bell or was I just dreaming. I was like well I dont think we were both dreaming because I heard it to. So we just sat there for a couple of mins and it rang again. So Brandon got up to go check it out. He had some protection on him just to be on the safe side but we were both like what in the heck is going on. He thought at first it was door bell ditchers but since it happened twice we got up and looked. So when he looked out the beep hole he saw a man dress in Army uniform. He answered the door and was like can I help you.

NEED HELP!!!

Ok so my best friend of all times is getting married this Dec and I am going to be one of her brides maids. She has asked that we wear either a black top with a black skirt or an all black dress. I am going to head towards the black dress because its tough to find a black top and black skirt that really work together. So this girl that I work with has found a couple of dresses that are all black and I want some help deciding which one will be better. She doesnt want them to fancy or to casual.

INTERVIEW UPDATE!!

So I have been telling this story alot so I figured I would put a quick update on here for those that I havent talked with yet about it. So I went to Scottsdale for this interview and I thought it was for the actual postion that I applied for but it was actually a hiring agency that was helping them with interviews. So I have to go through them and if they dont find me fit for that position they will look at other places for me. So I have no idea what is going to happen but at least my name is out there with the hiring agency.

OOOO COOKIES!!!

So last week I made some chocolate chip cookies for Brandon's work and as I was making those I thought I should make some pumpkin chocolate chip cookies as well. So this morning at 7:45am I made the first batch of cookies so Brandon could take some to his sunday school class. Well he decide to tell his work once again that I was making pumpkin chocolate chip cookies and everyone told him that he had to bring some in. So after church I came home and made the second patch of cookies so Brandon could take some to work. It has been fun baking because I havent done it in so long and it sure does help having my kitchen aid.

TRUNK OR TREAT!!

So every year one of the wards whether its mine or my folks have a trunk or treat. This year my ward is not doing one but my folks did. And every year my dad goes full out because he absolutly loves Halloween. He gets something new every year to do the decorations. This year he got two new blow up halloween things. One was a witch and the other was an organ that stood 7 ft tall and played music. He also got a witch that would say Happy Halloween and move. We had a fog machine as well that Kayli would push whenever kids would come by the area. My dad was the only one that decorated and enjoyed it even better because of that. JOB INTERVIEW!!

So I have been thinking for a long time that I need to get out of Wamu bank. And now that Chase had bought us out and I dont know what to expect come December 1st, 2008 (Meaning if I am going to have a job or not the next morning)I thought it was time to start looking for another job. Better to be safe than sorry is what I say. So yesterday I got onto jobing.com and typed in receptionist. I thought this could be a good job for many reasons: 1. I will be buys the whole day with something 2. They usually get paid good money 3. I have a better job securty which than a bank right now because of the economy (I know weird to say that, but really think about it) and 4. It gets me into something new (I have been with the bank for four years now and I really havent gotten anywhere with it.)So anyways....when I typed in Receptionist a company came up that said they were looking for someone to work the position and if you were interested to submit your resume or call them directly. So thats what I did and it was alot easier than I thought. I called them as soon as I saw that and she asked me a couple of questions and the next thing I knew she was asking me when would be a good time to meet for an interview. I told her I was free this Thursday for anytime, so I have an interview for Thursday Oct 23, 2008 at 1pm for a receptionist postion with a company called Renaissance Personal Group Inc. I am really hoping this will work out. Its a part time job from 8am-3pm because that is how late they are opened M-F and starting pay is about $17.00 an hour. That is about $4.00 more than what I am making at WAMU. I will not have to worry about benefits being taken out because I am on Brandon's, so in the end it will just be taxes. I will be making about the same I am making now at the bank in the long run but working less hours. I think it will be good. I have been wanting to finish school because my two year degree is taking me 5 years so it will be nice to get that out of the way. And working less hours I think I can do that.

I am also having mixed emotions about the whole thing as well. I mean I have been with the bank for 4 years. I thought this is what I wanted to do with my life because I have been thinking about going into financing as my major. But I think from the beginning this just hasnt been the job for me. I say this because I started off with the bank as a float teller so I would travel from branch to branch. Well right off the start I had trouble with one of the managers and that just was not good. One year into the banking I was trying to get promoted and that took another year a later to get a position that I wanted and more pay. Anyways from the beginning it hasnt gone well and now its time to go. I think I have stuck around because I love the company and it was really sad to see it fall under and get bought by Chase however I never liked coming to work because of all the problems that I was facing. But I will keep everyone posted on what happens. Hope all is going well with everyone.

HERE COMES THE BRIDE!!!

So my good friend Kristin is getting married in Nov so a couple of us girls got together tonight for a Mystery Dinner Party for her Bachrolette party. It was so good and I am glad I was able to spend this night with her. I am not sure if everyone is able to see her headband and whats on it but its something dirty (if you all know what I mean, if not give me a call and I will tell you). DAY AT THE LAKE!!!

So today in the middle of October Devin, Ashley, Brandon, Ken and myself went to the lake to do some wakeboarding. The weather was pretty nice it hit about 95 degrees today, but the water was probably low 70s. Anyways I have been able to get up on the wakeboard but have never been able to stay up for a long time. The only reason why is because I wasnt able to turn it on the side. However Ashley let me try her board and I got up, stayed up, and turned the board on the side. It was great. So here is a video and some pics of the day.

FONDUE NIGHT!!

So we have Brandon's friend Devin with his girlfriend Ashley in town from Utah for the week. We thought it would be fun to do fondue night with them. We did the whole shindig. Cheese, broth, and chocolate it was so much fun. And tasted so good, but of course if you have ever had fondue you know you cant stop after just one bite.

MY LIFE GETS MORE INTERESTING EVERYDAY!!

So you guys are probably wondering what this title is getting at. Well I can tell you. I am having a very interesting situation going on at work with a customer. First off I have not seen this guy in like 8 months not even kidding. Well about two months ago he came into the branch to complain about me to my Assitant Manager by telling her that I have the worse customer service skills and I need to learn how to help customers better. So at that point she addressed it to me and I got written up about which really made me upset and I didnt sign it because I told her that I hadnt seen him in forever and its not fair to me that he comes back months later to complain. So that couple of months went by. Well Thursday the 25th of Sept the customer went into another location and was talking really bad about me. He was stating that my brother and I would follow him everywhere he would go and then slash his tires and got him arrested at the grocery store as soon as he walked in the door. He also told them that I use to go to school with his daughter and cause problems with her, and that I worked at Pizza Hut and I would throw dough across the counter at him. First off I dont know who is daughter is and I have never worked at Pizza Hut. So my management team said they would get this taken care of and well like a week later it has not been done.
So yesterday the same customer went to the same location and was upset about his account being bad. He then was blaming it on me saying I was the one pulling money out of his account. He then told the employee he was working with that he was going to come and "BEAT ME UP" and that I could be dead in the morning. So I contacted my security speciallist to find out what to do and he told me to go to the courts and place a restraining order againtst this guy and to file a police report.
So this morning I went to the courts and spent 3 hours to get this report done and they will serve the guy first thing tomorrow morning with the restraining order. O how fun is my life.

TESTING UPDATE!!

So yesterday afternoon I had to go back into the specialist to get more testing done to see why I keep having miscarriages. This time around they shot water up in my Uterus to see if there was any weird scaring or build up around the uterus wall that would cause it. After alot of pain and getting things together we have found that everything is ok. They also did more blood work a couple weeks ago to make sure that I really did have the auto immune and this time it came back negative. I am so confused on everything I dont know what to do. I asked the doctor why he thinks it came back positive the first time and negative this time around and he thinks its because I was fasting that it caused it to show a positive response. At this point all we can do is try and see what happens the third time around. It pretty frustrating but I know we will get it figured out one day. They did say once we get pregnant and as soon as we find out we need to notify them so they can moder it closing. We will see and I will keep everyone posted.

CONGRATS TO THE PHILLIPS!!

My good friends Amber and Cody Phillips had their beautiful baby boy this morning at I believe 6:15am Arizona time so 7:15am Utah time. I will make sure I get that clarified. He was born at 5lbs 6oz and 19 inches long at about 9 days early. His name will be Chandler Robert Phillips.I am so excited for them and cant wait to see them. Here is a pic of baby boy Phillips.

1. I am always on the computer checking if people have updated their blog or anything. Even though I checked it like 5 mins before.

2. I think there are times when I start talking about something and I give to much detail when its not needed.

3. I would rather text or something else beside talking with someone on the phone. Even though its so much easier to get the point across when you just talk with them.

4. When someone is talking to me for along time about nothing I tend to daydream and act like I am listening when really I am not.

5. When I drink Dr.Pepper I would rather have a fountain drink then a can or a bottle. However if I cant get the fountain drink then I have to poor it in a cup with tons of ice.

WAMU UPDATE!!!

So as of Thursday Sept 25 2008 it has been decided that JPMorgan/Chase has bought Wamu out. As of right now they are saying we have about 6 months until they start going around and saying if we get to stay or not. I am still not taking the chance and looking for other opportunites to come along. I however feel like my branch will be one that will close down because there is a Chase Branch not even 2 mins from my work. That though doesnt mean that they wont hirer me on as one of their tellers if for some reason I dont get another job before that time. Its so weird to think that I could be an employee for some other bank. Yes I am now an "employee" for Chase but we are still known as Wamu until they say ok we are now changing the name. I never thought that this day would come to where I would have to wonder if I am going to have a job the next morning. But like alot of people have said "When one door closes another one will open."

On another note. Those of you that have Wamu accounts I want to let you know that everything will stay the same even when the name has changed. At least that is what they are telling us so if that is not that case dont hold me responsible. I do know for sure though that your account numbers and rounting number will stay the same no matter what. You may get a new debit card with the Chase logo on it, but they are saying that the checks you have with WAMU on it you can still use. I will try to answer all your questions as best as I can if you have any. But as of right now this is what they are telling me.

ITS OFFICIAL!!!

So I am sure everyone on here has been hearing in the news that WAMU has been bought out by JP/Morgan Chase and this is a true fact. I have been an employee with Washington Mutual Bank for 3 1/2 years now and have enjoyed it so much. Yes there has been alot of stress to it but I have worked with some great people through out the years, but Wamu just couldnt do it any more. I am not to sure what is going to happen with my job but for now we are still WAMU and I am to carry out my work day the same as I have been. If anyone though knows of a company that is hiring please let me know. I am willing to try anything but like I said I have 3 1/2 years of banking experience. So anything financial I am sure I could do. I have applied for a couple of jobs but I am not sure how those are going to go. I just ask for everyones prayers during this time. I thank those that have called for their support and if I hear anymore news on whats going on I am sure I will let you all know.

CORYNN'S BABYSHOWER!!

Well I forgot my camera when I helped throw a surprise baby shower for my friend Corynn but I was able to get this group shot of those that helped planned the shower. It was a fun day. It started off with my brother Kody and I doing her maternity pictures down at my place. It ended a bit early so I was trying to drag it along so I wouldnt get there to early. I was even driving really slow to her place. She lives out in Maricopa so it took me about 45 mins to get there. I think she knew something was going on that day because everything was happening at the same time. Her sister was coming into town, we had the photo shoot, and Melinda the other girl that helped was asking for addresses. I think Corynn thought we were going to do it at my place but when that wasnt the case I dont think she was thinking much of it anymore. So on the way back to her house and when we drove around the corner she told me that she was going to hurt me because of the surprise. The theme was PJ since she has been on bed rest. I hope she had fun because I sure did.

SO ANNOYING!!!

Well I think today was the worst day ever and a waste of my time. It started off pretty bad at about 6:30am. The reason being is because why Wamu the bank I work for is asking to be put up for sale. I had to tell him I dont know but I am not to worried about it. Anyways that just got to me because I have to deal with it day in and day out with customers I didnt think I would have to deal with it from family either.
After that I went to Paradise Valley to meet up with my future sister in law to get fitted for a bridesmaid dress. Well she is getting the dresses from David's Bridal and those of you that are LDS know that David's Bridal dresses are not very modest so it was very hard to work with the dress that she has picked out. But I think we got it to work.
Well after that I had my "wonderful" doctors appt. I put that in quotes because when I got their the doc is like ok what can I do for you today. And I was like ummm you tell me that. He didnt look through the paper work my original OBGYN sent over until Brandon and I were sitting right in front of his face. Well once he looked over the paper work he is like I dont know why your doc sent you to me because I dont specials in what you have. I am like are you kidding me. And for those of you that dont know or dont remember I have an auto ammune thing in my body that could be killing off the egg. Anyways..... the doc was like I can however do other test for you to see if this is really the case so I can make sure I send you to the right doc. So only being there for an hour they took one tube of blood to make sure that I really have the auto ammune thing to make sure he gets me to the right doc.
He did say that he could do other test on me to. One being where they shut water in my uterus to make sure that everything is functioning ok in there. However he said it may not be necessary because we had a two year cap in between my first miscarriage and this last one.
So becaues of that I have decided that I am not going to do anymore test unless this new blood work comes back that I really do have the auto ammune thing. But Brandon and I will try to start having a baby ASAP and not have another two year gap. And if I do get pregnant for the third time and miscarry the third time around we will start the test from stratch. We will also get to the point to make sure Brandon is not killing my egg or anything with his sperm.
So once again I didnt get all the answers that I needed but I am going to get pregnant whether my doc wants me to or not right now.

WONDERFUL!!!

So my ward is amazing and wonderful. I havent had the chance to get to know alot of them. I know after a year and a half being there you would think I would but with Brandon's work schedule and having afternoon church it makes it tough to stay the whole three hours.
Anyways......There are these four other women in my ward that have been having the same issues with like me with getting pregnant. Some have been trying for years and arent able to get pregnant, some have miscarried like me, and one lady's husband is the one that cant get them pregnant. Well one lady thought it would be a good idea to get us all together to talk about our problems since we are all going through it and we can all understand eachother. I do have friends and family that are very suportive with the whole situation but I still dont think they totally understand where I am coming from. So having this little group yesterday just was a nice thing to have to vent and get others opinion on how to get through the situation.
We are going to try and do this once a month to keep eachother updated on the statis of what is going on with our pregnancy. I am very grateful to know that there are others out there that are going through the same thing that I am. And can understand why I get so upset and just want to cry when I see another women or here that one of my friends is going to have a baby.
I have been putting on a happy face for a long time with this last miscarriage and yesterday it was nice to just sit there and cry with four other women that know how I feel. They asked me why I am putting on such a strong happy face for everyone and not thinking about myself and I told them that I have had alot of family issues right now and I have to be strong or everything will fall apart. One lady told me that its ok to back away from family when I am going through this and not stress so much and lock yourself in your room for days. Now if I didnt have a job I would probably do that but I have one and cant lock myself up.
I want to thank these wonderful ladies for including me in this little group it helped so much and I truely hope we can do it again soon.

SLACKING!!

Hey everyone I know I have been slacking on my blog but nothing to exciting has been going on since I got back from vacation which totally stinks.
However I do have some news from my doctors on my blood test that I had about three weeks ago. I have a hard time understanding it because they dont know everything about the results because my doctor is not a speciallist. Anyways what they told me is my Protein level is way to high. Its at 102% and its only suppose to be at 65%. I know what you are all thinking wow you eat alot of meat and peanuts but to tell you the truth I really dont and it doesnt have anything to do with what I eat. Its an autoamune thing in my body so pretty much its just there. My doctor is not sure how they handle or what they do to fix it but she does know it can be fixed and it should prevent us from having another miscarriage. I will let everyone know how it goes next week after we get the answer from the speciallist.
