TO MUCH GOING ON!!

It has been far to long since I have updated this blog but life sure does get in the way. We have had some eventful things going on in the Cooke/Bjarnson household. First and for most my dad got married again on August 6th, 2011 to a wonderful lady by the name of Susie. She and my dad met through my brother Trevor and his mission companion Cory Potter (whom is Susie's son). I am so happy for my dad and Susie its so wonderful to see my dad happy again because it has been far to long. I look forward to getting to know Susie more with her living in Idaho and myself here in Arizona its hard to do so.

Another event that we were able to do again which we try to do every year around Labor Day weekend is go to Lake Powell. I wasnt able to get many pictures because I was to busy keeping an eye on a 2 year old and enjoying my time on the water I kept forgetting to take the camera out. I cant wait until next year when we go again and will hopefully be able to get a house boat.
 Life is busy here in the Bjarnson household. Cammie is still working for EDMC as a Finance Counselor and has been there for a year now. She still enjoys the job even though she complains about it more than ever lately. She is also currently still going to school online with South University and hopes to be done with her Associates Degree in Business Finance in March of next year. She is still enjoying being a mom to her 2 year old son where you can find updates on him at www.augbaby09.blogspot.com. She is also enjoying being a wife to her wonderful husband and is grateful for everything he does for the family.
Brandon is still working for the City of Phoenix Police in the Records Department. He just celebrated 5 years there and I think he loves what he does still. Even though he is still working the night shift he does so much for the family. He enjoys playing some pick up ball with some guys from the church on Thursday nights.

KODY AND KAYLI'S WEDDING!!

As some of you may know my younger brother Kody and his girlfriend of about 3 years got married a few months ago, Feb 11th, 2011. They just did a small ceremony at the court house in Chandler and when Kody gets back from Tech school around August they will do a bigger ceremony and reception with friends and more family. I am so happy for them and glad this day finally came for them. As you can tell they were way excited about getting this done. These are the ones off my camera and if I can ever get ahold of the ones on their camera I will post them. Congrats again Kody and Kayli Cooke. I love you both!!

COULDNT BE HAPPIER!!!

This post is so true I couldnt be happier with how my life is going right now. I do not want to genus myself but I think the "Big Man Upstairs" is going to make 2011 a great year for me. I have been working at my new job at EDMC Financial Aid department for 4 months now, and LOVING it. It started off rough but it has gotten so much better and I think I have finally found my career. Because I am working for a school I am able to get school for free so I have signed up to take online classes with South University going into their Business Finance Program for my Associates degree. Alot of people are wondering why I am only getting the Associates and I have many reasons for it but the biggest one is because I promised my mommy that I would at least get that degree. Plus I dont want to get myself into something that I am not sure I can finish but I am almost done with my Associates so I figured I should get that. I should graduate by June of next year, but no later than December of 2012. Of course I am trying to shoot for June.
Anyways, so like I said I am now back in school and I am only taking one class right now but I am so happy with the way its turning out. I am getting an A in the class and have past two of my test with As which is huge for me because I am not a great test taker. It is online so I can work at my own paste and not be stuck in a class room 4 days a week. Its hard enough to find time to spend with my family I dont want another thing getting in the way.
Brandon and I are doing great and it has been nice. We are having a great time being parents to Miles and seeing him grow and learn new things every day. (check out his blog at www.augbaby09.blogspot.com). Things have grow between us so much since I have began work and since Miles came into our lives.
I am grateful for everything in my life and hope things continue to go smoothly for this year.
