HOSPITAL TRIP!!

So you are all probably what the title is all about. It has been a very interesting weekend and not one that we were expecting. It actually all started on Wednesday night and we just held it off until Friday morning at about 10:30am.
Who is it you ask? Well its my dear husband Brandon. The one man that is healthy as a bug and never gets sick, so when this happened we were both in shock. So on Wednesday afternoon he started getting really sharp pains in his lower right stomach. He said the pain was about a 8 for those of you that know the pain scale. At first we just thought that it was a stomach flu or something and he was just having lots of pressure. However, he didnt throw up and had no fever. I told him to just wait it out and see what happens within the next couple of days.
So on Thursday he woke up and he said that the pain was fine when he wasnt moving around but when he got up and moved around it would be at about a 3-4 on the pain scale. I didnt know what to do so we called his mom and she just told us that it could be the flu and he just had gas that would not pass but if the pain didnt get under control by friday go into urgent care.
So... thats what we did on Friday morning at about 9:30am we decided to go into Urgent Care. Which was probably the stupidest thing ever because they didnt have any equipment to see what was going on inside. So they just pushed on Brandon's stomach and when they did that pain was really bad. After $40.00 later and about 15 mins of being there, they told us that we needed to go into the Emergency Room. Brandon was not very happy about that so we just went and ran a couple of errands. As we were doing that he kept debating if he should go in or not so finally I was like we are going in. And because I am such a smart wife it is a good thing we did.
We went to the new hospital by our house Gateway Banner to get him checked out and because its so new we got right into the ER.
Well about 5 hours later in the ER and all the test and cat scan they finally determined that Brandon was starting a case of appendisides (however you spell it). His appendics were starting to inflame and the surgeron saw that in the cat scan. So at about 6:30pm he was finally put to sleep and got his appendics taken out.
I finally got to see him about an hour and a half after his surgery and he was so loopy. This is the first time he has ever had to get surgery so he was not use to being put under or all the drugs that were going through his system. He is doing pretty good and should be out of the hospital sometime tonight.

So that is how I spent my day off. Note to everyone if you are having pain in your lower right stomach and it has last longer than two days and you are not throwing up. Please go get it checked out because in Brandon's case it was his appendics and it could have been worse. It doesnt matter how healthy you are something can still come up.

I also wanted to get pics of Brandon but he didnt want me to. :(
