MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!!

This is me catching my first fish. As you can tell it was really tiny so we were able to unhook it and release it to the water.
This is our dog Malone. Under the table was his favorite place to lay. I think he really enjoyed the cool weather.
My brother Kody and I. He is such a wonderful brother I was glad he was able to make it up.
This is some of the family. I am in the grey coat. Next to me is Anna, Josh, Grant, Donna, Grandpa, Lexey, Brianna and Malone.
This is the eye that my dad hiked up to. Since he was a kid he has always wanted to go up there but didnt know how. My cousin found a way to get there. He is tiny but you can still see him.

So my family and I went to Scipio Utah for some what of a family reuion for Memorial Day weekend. It was so much fun. We were hoping more people would have showed up but we all think they chickened out because of the weather. Which by the way was not that bad. Yes it was cold and it rained, but only at nights. However I think the most important family members were there. The ones that showed up were my mom, my dad, my brother Kody, my brother Josh with his wife Anna and their daughter Brianna. And then also my uncle Jeff, Aunt Colleen, Cousins Dj and Justin, Justin's girlfriend Katy and my second cousin Lexey. Then also my grandma Rosalie , grandpa Nick and Uncle Bill. We had such a great time all getting together and just hanging out in good old Maple Grove. When I was younger we use to go camping there all the time. It was a 13 hour drive for us to get there but once we get there we dont ever want to leave.
We did lots of fishing while we were there and fried it up the last night for dinner. I am not a big fan of sea food but my dad always says you catch it, you clean it, you cook it, you eat it. So I gave it a shot. The first couple of days we were having a hard time catching the fish and when we would we would just get the babies that we had to release them if possible. I however was the first one to catch the fish.
We also did some hiking while we were up there. I found out for the first time this weekend that my great grandfather helped build the camp site. And I must say it is so beauitful up there. My dad went on a long hike with my cousins and uncle up to a point on the moutain called the Eye. He said it was not that bad and he wished I would have gone with him. I am sure next year I will give it a go.
So here are some pics of the event at good old Maple Grove in Scipio, Utah.
